artsHOP 2010 CALLING ALL TURTLES
Anna Maria Island has long been a destination for Loggerhead turtles, and many generous volunteers have
spent many hours walking the beaches to secure turtle nests. When the nests hatch crowds of curious
islanders watch as the hatchlings make their way to the water. This years artsHOP wants to honor not
only the turtles who frequent our island, but the turtle watchers who protect them.
