4th ANNUAL GALLERY WALK
Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach
Hosted by the Anna Maria Art League,
Island Gallery West, the Artists' Guild Gallery and the Studio at Gulf and Pine, but includes other
galleries, businesses and studios featuring local artists and their art work with local musicians
adding ambiance at sites and through out the island. Easy access to all galleries by our FREE island trolley.

Each gallery will host an open house with complimentary refreshments and features such as live music,
art demonstrations and prizes. Start at any participating gallery to pick up an ArtsHOP "passport"
which maps out the ArtsHOP galleries on Anna Maria Island. Visitors who get their passport stamped at
six of the eight ArtsHOP galleries will receive a valuable coupon worth 20 percent off dinner at
any one of the three popular local Chiles Restaurants, The Sandbar, Beach House or Mar Vista.
Additionally qualifying visitors will be eligible for a $150-value arts supply basket courtesy of
Keeton's Art Supply of Bradenton, FL -- just by turning in their stamped passport at the Anna Maria
Island Art League or The Studio at Gulf and Pine before 8:45 p.m.

Galleries included in the Art Walk on Friday night are:
1. The Studio at Gulf and Pine in Anna Maria
The Studio will be presenting CALLING ALL TURTLES. The Silent Auction
bidding for the turtle works of art will begin and will continue on Saturday with the winners announced at 4:30pm.
State Road 64 will be on the patio
to entertain you on Saturday while you make your last minute bids!
2. Ginny & Jane E's in Anna Maria
Ginny’s & Jane E’s at The Old IGA’s eclectic selection of local art and more provides a fabulous opportunity to shop for
amazing gifts. Featured are numerous local artists who frequently are on site lounging in the Cafe enjoying fresh baked goodies
and mingling with other patrons. The art is displayed inside Ginny’s & Jane E’s Bakery Café & Island Coastal Store at 9807 Gulf
Drive, Anna Maria and is open seven days a week.

4. Beach Style Recycled, in Holmes Beach
5. Artists Guild Gallery in Holmes Beach
The Artist Guild Gallery will host an opening reception for 2 artists. Amy Culbert, a jeweler and Nancy Hossbach, a watercolor artist are featured. Visitors to the Gallery will find food, drink and a raffle for items donated by the artists as well as the displays of over 60 local artists. Nancy Hossbach will greet visitors and talk about her work inside. Amy Culbert will be demonstrating her polymer clay jewelry process in the tent outside the gallery. Also, in front of the Gallery and back by popular request, the State Road 64 blue grass band performs.
6. The Anna Maria Island Art League in Holmes Beach
The Art League is having Myakka for the music and a wire sculpture demo by Charles O'Neil in the courtyard. Deeana
Atkinson will be doing a floor cloth painting demo and we will have sea turtle floor cloths created by area artists and children
on display through out the courtyard as part of the Turtle theme of this year's artshop weekend. Artists interested in creating
floor cloths for this event's display and sale can pick up materials at the art league, in addition to receiving details on
participating in the event.
In addition this is the opening reception for "Island Gems", an all media juried exhibit open to area artists featuring our
island's treasures - be they natural or man made. Receiving for this exhibit will be on Tuesday November 9 and Wednesday November 10 between 10 am and 2 pm. Additional information is available at islandartleague.org or call the art league at 778-2099.
7.Tide and Moon Jewelry in Holmes Beach

I am a artist who has worked in many mediums~
for the past 10 years my focus has been on metal smith art jewelry~
I have owned and operated a sterling silver shop for the past 20 years...
I love to hand texture and form sterling, copper and brass, and I am starting some class's in gold next month~
I have always had a love for large beautiful natural stones so much of my work is adorned with stones~
I am always taking a class or workshop to improve myself as a designer~

The artsHOP Gallery Walk 2010 at ISLAND GALLERY WEST will feature JOE FLETCHER's large breath taking images of nature.
Also, the gallery's other 28 local fine artists will present their lastest works and many will be on hand to meet visitors.
The party atmosphere will be enhanced with music from popular local blues pianist Sam M. Wade. Be sure to stop by to
enjoy fun, food and festivites on Friday, November 12, from 5-9PM.
11. Back Alley in Bradenton Beach
The Back Alley will be having the Ted Stevens Band playing in the alley! This is going to be such a fun night! Start out or stop by Bridge Street, get your passport and enjoy live music and island art!

monologues of comedic and poignant moments.... an evening that will
complement the gourmet pastries and coffee served at intermission.
