Cultural Connections is thrilled to announce the presentation of the 6th
Annual Anna Maria Island artsHOP.
The festivities will begin on Friday, November 9th with the Gallery Walk from 2-8pm, with galleries open in Holmes Beach and Anna Maria City. Make sure to
visit the Anna Maria Island Historical Society to enjoy the 'Baseball' theme. On Friday evening, The Island Players will present Agatha Christie's MOUSETRAP at 8pm
with champagne and cupcakes at intermission (served by the Off Stage Ladies).
Saturday the annual AMI Butterfly Garden Arts and Crafts Fair will take place in Holmes Beach (on both Saturday and Sunday) and Saturday at 5pm there will
be a silent auction for the PAINTED CHAIRS at the Studio at Gulf and Pine - refreshments and merriment will abound. The Island Players will be repeating their
presentation of Agatha Christie's MOUSETRAP at 8pm with champagne and cupcakes at intermission.
On Sunday at 2PM, artsHOP will feature a live performance of "Popular Light Classics" by the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus and Orchestra
[AMICCO], including selections from movie themes and the Masters. The artsHOP festivities will conclude with a gathering on the Manatee County beach at sunset
for a Drum Circle.

Our Anna Maria Island community proudly supports over seven art galleries and studios, a nationally
recognized historical society, a renowned orchestra and chorus, The Island Players theater, and a published writers' group.
Cultural Connections of Anna Maria Island was established in 2008 for the purpose of promoting and
